The unit is a truly arrayable 2-way trapezoidal speaker system and is designed for a multitude of different applications including permanent installation, touring (the Spyder comes with Pro flying equipment) and mobile use. The Spyder7 can be used separately or in a cluster - the latter allowing tight coherent sound distribution.
The speaker utilises the VOLT 15" Radial Loudspeaker. The VOLT Speaker has the uniqe quality which allows the heat of the magnet to dissipate through the front of the cabinet, so eliminating long term power compression
A choice of HF units is available along with the dedicated built-in crossover for passive use. There is also a choice of rear terminal panels available - either EP4, AP4 or speakon.
The cabinets are built from best quality birch ply and finished in a tough black carpet finish.
A full metal grille is available as standard.
